Brett Perhase

Brett comes to Open Arms Link with over 13 years of experience working in the mental health field. Brett started in 2009 as a Direct Support Professional and, within three months, moved into a management role. Since then, he has served in various supervisory roles. Brett has worked with two of Michigan’s larger Contract Provider Agencies, directly in charge of both licensed and unlicensed settings, CLS and Respite Programs, Auto Insurance, Skilled Nursing, In-Home Private Care, and Applied Behavior Analysis Programs. All that experience has led Brett to build working relationships with organizations like Meemic Insurance Company, The Veteran Affair, and 17 Community Mental Health Agencies, covering 29 of Michigan’s Counties. Brett has a broad scope of knowledge in State of Michigan Licensing and Regulatory Affairs compliance but also with CARF accreditation, Home and Community Based Services, and MDHHS compliance as well. Brett’s goal is to continue to learn and grow while expanding on his Red Cross Instructor Program and, as a Qualified Instructor teaching new hire employees the skills they would need to provide the best quality of life possible for the individuals we serve.
